What to Expect From Your Inspection

Whether you are buying, selling or maintaining your home, In Depth Home Inspection, LLC provides professional and quality service from the moment you call me. I will walk through your home with you and teach you as much as you want to learn. I strictly follow and exceed the Standards of Professional Practice adopted by the State of Washington and InterNACHI, the leading home inspection association.

After we walk through the home together, I will personally explain the general condition of the home and systems with you and your agent. We will talk through any major issues that need to be addressed sooner rather than later. I will also mention the items that you will want to keep an eye on for deferred maintenance. All of this will be detailed in my easy-to-read Spectora report, that will be delivered in HTML and/or PDF format. From that report, you’ll be able to see the items we discussed, with images for reference.

What's Included in a Home Inspection

Here is what you can expect from your home inspection

  • First I’ll meet you or your representative at the house.

  • Before I begin the inspection any items from the seller’s disclosure should be shared with me at this point.

  • The inspection of the house will begin with a review of the site and building exterior.

  • Moving inside, I will start at the top floor and I will work my way down.

  • Once the living space has been inspected, I’ll move on to the attic and crawlspace (if present).

  • Now that the house has been inspected it’s time for a recap with you. This typically takes 10-15 minutes and I will answer any questions you may have.

  • The home inspection report will be emailed to you within 24 hours.

  • Feel free to call or email me with any questions you may have about the house or the inspection report.
